lovely,I love the way you choose your composition.I wandered if it is good to sign the date at our paintings. I also do, but the other day someone said to me it is better not to. I sometimes sell old paintings, then the painting seem so old. What do you think?
Hi Thea, I've heard both sides of the question on that too. My thought is - a date chronicles the work and marks the growth of an artist. That is important to me, I think. And - I'm not so sure that those who buy art are terribly concerned about an absolutely "new" painting! So - I have chosen to date my work... but - I don't think there is any one right way to do it.
